Three doors, one factual core

CSS people need CSS MPT. PMS people need PMS GK. Job applicants need the one-paper general portion. Those are three doors into the same bank — not three syllabuses.

CSS written and most PMS papers are still descriptive. This bank does not replace essay, précis or optionals. It prepares the MCQ gates and the factual base underneath the written papers.

We do not publish exam dates. Confirm CSS MPT on fpsc.gov.pk and PMS / PPSC advertisements on ppsc.gop.pk.

One-paper jobs

Purpose
FPSC / PPSC / NTS screening for a post

Usually 100 MCQs; split is in that advertisement
Marking
Follow the candidate bulletin. Do not assume MPT or PMS GK rules.
Practise
Same general subjects; add only the post-specific portion from the ad

The conversion line

  • CSS: fail MPT and the year is gone without writing. MPT does not use an attempt and does not enter merit — it only decides whether you sit. Practise Abilities and English first.
  • PMS: GK is the only fully objective compulsory paper in Punjab PMS. Negative marking means accuracy beats coverage.
  • Jobs: the general portion of FPSC, PPSC and NTS papers is the same core. Preparation compounds across advertisements.

Common questions

Should I study CSS MPT, PMS GK and one-paper tests as three courses?
No. They share English, Everyday Science, maths/ability, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, Urdu, GK and Current Affairs. Name the exam in front of you, then drill the overlapping subjects. Change only the marking rule: MPT has no negative marking on the published FPSC pattern; PMS GK deducts 0.25 per wrong answer on the published PPSC outline; one-paper rules follow that advertisement.
Can this bank clear CSS or PMS in full?
No. CSS merit is written papers, psychological assessment and viva. Punjab PMS still has English, Urdu, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies or Ethics, optionals and interview. Use MCQs for CSS MPT, PMS GK and job tests — and for the factual base of written papers, not as a substitute for writing.
When are CSS MPT and PMS held?
Only the commissions publish those dates. Confirm CSS MPT on fpsc.gov.pk and Punjab PMS on ppsc.gop.pk. This page does not list registration windows, paper dates or result dates.
