To which Prophet was the Taurat (Torah) revealed?

Explanation

The Taurat (Torah) is one of the four major revealed books in Islam and was given to Hazrat Musa (A.S.) on Mount Sinai. It served as a guidance for Bani Israel. The other revealed books include the Zabur (Psalms) to Hazrat Dawud (A.S.), the Injil (Gospel) to Hazrat Isa (A.S.), and the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Belief in all revealed books is an essential part of Islamic faith.

Good to know

In Islamic belief, four major divine books were revealed to different Prophets. The Taurat was revealed to Hazrat Musa (A.S.), the Zabur to Hazrat Dawud (A.S.), the Injil to Hazrat Isa (A.S.), and the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Taurat is mentioned by name several times in the Quran, and Muslims are required to believe in its original, unaltered form as a book of guidance from Allah.
