Ahsan ul Qasas is the life history of which prophet in Islam?

Explanation

The Quran itself calls the story of Hazrat Yousuf (A.S) "Ahsan al-Qasas" (the Best of Narratives) in Surah Yousuf, verse 3. This title is given because the story encompasses a complete and beautiful narrative arc covering themes of patience, temptation, forgiveness, rise from adversity to power, and the ultimate triumph of truth and prophethood, making it uniquely comprehensive among all prophetic stories in the Quran.

Good to know

Surah Yousuf is the 12th chapter of the Holy Quran and was revealed in Makkah. It is unique because it narrates the story of Hazrat Yousuf (A.S) in a continuous, chronological manner from beginning to end, unlike other surahs where stories of prophets are often scattered. The story covers his dream, the jealousy of his brothers, being thrown into a well, sold into slavery, the temptation by Zulaikha, imprisonment, interpretation of dreams, and eventual reunion with his father Hazrat Yaqub (A.S).
