Explanation

Siha-e-Sitta, meaning "The Authentic Six," refers to the six most reliable and canonical Hadith collections in Sunni Islam. These six books are Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawood, Jami at-Tirmidhi, Sunan al-Nasa'i, and Sunan Ibn Majah. Together they form the primary source of prophetic traditions after the Holy Quran.

Good to know

The term Siha-e-Sitta is widely used in Islamic scholarship to denote the six major Hadith compilations accepted by Sunni Muslims. Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim are considered the most authentic, often called Sahihain. The remaining four are known as Sunan and are also highly respected, though they contain some narrations that may not meet the strictest authenticity criteria.
