Good to know

The year 150 AH is historically significant in Islamic scholarship as it connects two of the four great Sunni Imams. Imam Abu Hanifa (80–150 AH), the founder of the Hanafi school, died in Baghdad, while Imam Shafi was born in Gaza in the same year. Imam Shafi studied under Imam Malik in Madina and later developed his own school, which synthesizes the approaches of the Ahl al-Hadith and Ahl al-Ra'y.
