Quick fact: Hazrat Ibrahim was the son of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ and Maria al-Qibtiyya (R.A).

Explanation

Hazrat Ibrahim was the only child of the Prophet ﷺ born in Madinah, and his mother was Maria al-Qibtiyya (R.A), who was a Coptic Egyptian slave gifted to the Prophet ﷺ by Muqawqis, the ruler of Egypt. All other children of the Prophet ﷺ — including Qasim, Zainab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum, and Fatima — were born to Hazrat Khadija (R.A). Ibrahim passed away in infancy, and the Prophet ﷺ mourned his death deeply.

Good to know

Maria al-Qibtiyya (R.A) was sent as a gift to the Prophet ﷺ by Muqawqis, the Christian governor of Alexandria, in response to the Prophet's letter inviting him to Islam. She accepted Islam and was married to the Prophet ﷺ. Hazrat Ibrahim was born in 8 AH and died around the age of 16-18 months in 10 AH. The Prophet ﷺ is reported to have said, "If Ibrahim had lived, he would have been a prophet," though this narration is considered weak by scholars.
